Sherlock

This Series is an up to date version of the Character of Sherlock Holmes (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) and his trusted companion Dr. John Watson (played by Martin Freeman). Sherlock is an eccentric, private, brillant sleuth, with Watson being the level headed, caring part of the duo. We see them solving crimes, in an extraordinary way, typical Sherlock methods of deduction and clever mindedness they are based at 221B Baker Street in a flat owned by Mrs. Hudson (played by Una Stubbs), a lady with a few secrets of her own and not Sherlock's "housekeeper". The Series as had 4 Season so far, each consisting of 3 episodes each, with the talks of Season 5 very much on the agenda. The reason that we have not seen it yet is due to the workloads of both Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. These episodes are roughly 1 1/2 hours long and are almost full length feature films. The chemistry between Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman is a thing of beauty, timings are perfect, they are funny, and very much complement each other in the roles. Creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss have combined really well to deliver an excellent series, and a credit to the original characters and stories set out by Arthur Conan Doyle. This is right up there near the top of a boxset choice and all that have missed it like i had, then its a must see. On IMDb it holds a rating of 9.1 with nearly 3/4 million people setting their vote, they can't and aren't wrong. "The Game Is On".
