So today Colin Farrell is 44. Colin first came into our lives back in 1995, not that many of us would have noticed him as he made his film debut as a Young Man in Cinema No. 2 in the movie Frankie Starlight. We might first remember him the the Irish TV hit Ballykissangel where he took on the role of Danny Byrne for 18 episodes between 1996 and 2001. It was probably here that Hollywood took a good look at him and in the early noughties, Colin was given big leading roles. He Was Jesse James in American Outlaws, Danny Witwer opposite Tom Cruise in Minority Report, along with playing Stu Shepard in Phone Booth. This set his stall out and he has one heck of a filmography during the noughties. Top movies, Lead and supporting roles, even being in the Marvel movie Daredevil. Things didn't and haven't slowed down there either, through the twenty-tens the big roles still were coming. Playing Douglas Quaid in the 2012 remake Total Recall, Travers Goff, alongside Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson in Saving Mr. Banks, Charles Ambrose, alongside Anthony Hopkins in Solace and Graves in the J.K. Rowling prequel series of the Harry Potter series, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. As 2020's decade begins another role this time in the Guy Richie Movie, The Gentlemen where he plays Coach. Colin has also shown diversity in his roles and has voiced characters in Blue Sky franchise 2015 movie Epic, where his voice bought Ronin to life.

He has also, on US TV been confronted by a telephone sex worker who threw a self-publish expose of him on Jay Leno's desk! He later got a restraining order against his stalker, and strangely, that part was cut from the show. In 2006 former girlfriend and Playboy Model Nicole Narain allegedly was trying to release a 13 minute sex tape that she had made back in 2003 with Colin to damage his upcoming acting career. This was settled out of court.

As you can see this charismatic gent is not going away, and neither would we want him to either. As you can see he is able to play an array of diverse roles and seems to be continuing in that vain. He is a very good actor and I've thought that since i saw him in Minority Report
