Well, another true story. This one has Samuel L Jackson playing Joe Morris, a man of fortunate upbringing from California, teaming up with Anthony Mackie playing Bernard Garrett, a black man from Texas in an era when there was segregation of colour.

From a young age Bernard was always interested in how “white men made there money”. He was very bright and gained all the knowledge he could before leaving Texas to move to California. This is where the two men meet. Add to this plot a very solid performance from Nicholas Hoult playing Matt Steiner.

These 3 men changed the way real estate was bought and Let in California. Without giving and spoilers here i'd just like to say that they went on to a dramatic, and sometimes worrying journey. This is a must see film and will enter my top 10 of 2020 @ #3
